Mr. Sena has more than 40 years of experience in geophysics. He coordinated geophysical projects to explore iron, manganese, gold, potassium, phosphate, lithium, diamond, and other mineral elements.

These surveys used electric, electro-magnetic, magnetic, standard gravimetric methods, Full Tensor Gradient (FTG), and Airborne Gravity Gradiometric (AGG) techniques.

He coordinated geophysical exploration programs for gold, iron, níquel, and platinum, mainly in the Carajás metallogenic domain.

He managed the geophysical departments of important mining companies such as Docegeo, VALE S.A., and Vicenza Mining, and performed geophysical projetcs in many regions of Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Argentina during his career.

A milestone in his geology accomplishments is discovering gold in the Fazenda Brasileiro, Northeast of State of Bahia, with an estimate of 100 tons of this metal.

In addition, he coordinated a program to integrate gravimetric, magnetometric, and sysmic data for a metallic ore prospecting project in the São Francisco river basin, located in the north of the state of Minas Gerais – Brazil.

He holds the award Geologist of the Year from the Geophysics Brazilian Society. Lately, he is a consulting geophysicist for mining companies.
