Mr. Santos has more than 30 years of combined experience in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, and Software Development. He holds two bachelor’s degrees, Geology and Civil Engineering, a M.A.Sc. from the University of British Columbia in Canada, with emphasis in Geotechnical engineering, and several information technology certifications.

His set of skills includes geotechnical engineering, computer programming, database design, geological and geotechnical modelling, and geographic information systems (GIS), acquired after working in South and North America.

He had the opportunity to perform geotechnical and geological evaluation for highway and hydroelectric dams projects. He also worked as a manager of a laboratory of concrete and soils, providing support for a variety of construction projects.

In addition, he developed software using languages such as C, C++, and PHP, and designed databases using Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and spatial databases for GIS projects.

He thoroughly enjoys working with information technology and the engineering information that can be obtained with proper manipulation of these tools.
