Mr. Padilha has more than 40 years of experience in exploration and mining geology. Since graduation, he was a leading geologist in various projects that required understanding the entire mine development lifecycle.

His mining geology and exploration experience include surficial and underground projects, coordination of metallic ore prospecting projects such as copper, manganese, iron, gold, tin, niobium, tantalum, nickel, zinc, lead, and many others. Because the techniques used to discover and exploit these elements are diverse, he acquired an overall knowledge of the mining industry.

He was a senior geologist for the most important and large mining companies in the world such as Grupo Vale SA, DOCEGEO – Rio Doce Geologia e Mineração SA, GME4 do Brasil, Jaguar Mining, Vicenza Mineração and Petra Energia- Gupo STR.

During his career, he coordinated projects in states of Brazil such as Rio Grande do Sul, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Tocantins, Pará, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso and Bahia. In addition, he worked on a manganese project in Gabon, Central Africa, and Sudan in North Africa.

Lately, he is a senior consultant for Servigeo Geologia e Geofísica and other mining companies.

He graduated as a Geologist in the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul – Brazil, and has specialization in Exploration and Resource Estimation of Mineral Resources in the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Geologie Apliquèe e de Prospection Miniére de Nancy – França.

He is an aviation affectionated and holds a private pilot license.
